Dreadnought – Record Pocket Watch Gold Plated Untested Free Postage In Australia
This was handed down through the family, it was my grandfathers on my father’s side given to me by my Uncle some 50 years ago. I have never tested whether it keeps good time. It has been kept safely in a leather pouch all that time. This pocket watch from the Record-Dreadnought Watch Co., a Swiss company founded in 1915 through a merger of several other watch companies. The company produced a wide range of timepieces and had an office in London starting in 1919 before moving its headquarters to Geneva in 1924. The company was acquired by Longines in 1962 I will send as free post to the buyer in Australia.

The case retains its fixed bars, large grooved crown, and purposeful military design. We do not know of its service history. Blue and grey striped nato-style strap (lightly worn).
