So possibly quite a rare a collectible piece. Date changes at midnight or “quickset” by changing between 9pm and 1am. Nice design to the case with the “hooded” lugs. Case width is 33mm excluding the original Fortis crown.

Very cool mid-60’s Fortis Audax “Trueline, automatic movement. Hour hand is missing lume. Running, but needs service; hands need proper alignment, and date change-over needs to be reset. Case and dial show typical wear/patina for the age. Atypical date window on a model that you don’t see too often; it would make a terrific restoration project. No strap included. Case: 33mm Lug: 18mm
